Hi

Pls tell me how to do the folloing process in sap.

while use the component for the production. we use to scan the material .so now client required to block the material if the material reach the expire date and it should move to the blocked stock.

how can u achieve this in sap.

any config is need for this .

Hi..

shelf life of material can be monitored by using report MB5M.

in this report materials shelf life will be listed .

Steps :

1 .create a storage location for expired - 0010 - Expired

2.schedule background job to move inventory from unrestricted to expires storage location

you issue of components to production will only happen from unrestricted storage location

system will not pick inventory in expired storage location
