Current Service Pack level for Business Objects Edge XI R-3.1 ?

Is there a URL location that will detail the current Service Pack level for Business Objects Edge XI R-3.1 ?

It would be nice if it was as eay to navigate as the one they have for CR-2008 SERVER.

It is my understanding that the Edge product is not always in-synch with the Business Objects ENTERPRISE XI R-3.1 service packs and fix packs - but I can't find anywhere that explicitly defines what is the current level for each product..?

Hi Mark,

While I'm currently unaware of an external location where this information is available I can tell you we are at Edge 3-1 RTM (base) version.

- BO Edge XI 3.1 FP1.1 ( corresponds to equivalent of BOE XI 3.1 FP1.5) is tentative to release by 22 September 2009
- BO Edge XI 3.1 FP1.2 ( corresponds to equivalent of BOE XI 3.1 FP1.8) is tentative to release in December 2009
- BO Edge XI 3.1 SP2 ( equivalent of BOE XI 3.1 SP2) in January 2010

Hi Mark,

I recently contacted SAP support about service packs for Edge 3.1. THe SP for Enterprise 3.1 has been out for months now, and it's really atrocious that Edge hasn't received the same.

Anyway, the courteous support rep initially told me that the Ege 3.1 SP had been release, but then retracted that and said it was expected in the next few months - likely before end of year.

How's that for helpful!! :)

Just visited the SAP download site, and Edge 3.1 Fix Pack 1.1 is now available!

Thanks Jim, when in doubt I will always wait on the Service Pack over the Fix Pack.

Do you know if it fixes the issue in this thread...?

Hi, I log into the SAP support and I don't find any download for FixPack 1.1 fro BI Edge Series.

Have any of you been able to download thisfixpack?
