Hi,

We have an issue while changing PO.

PO was created on 06/01/2009 ( Year 2008 - Period -12) for $100 (FM Posting date was 06/01/2009)
PO was changed on 09/29/2009 (Year 2009 - Period -3) to $40. Then, FM posting date is defaulting to activity date (09/29/2009)

But, we want the system to post to 2008 Year (May be to 06/30/2009). We have updated in FMOD table with 06/30/2009. Still, it was defaulting to current date.

How can we handle this???

Appreciate your great help.

Regards,
Dev.

Hi,

You can control FM date by update profile setting it either to posting date of the PO, either to posting date, due date or delivery date. So, if one of these three dates could be set to the one you wish to have for the FM update, adjust your update profile accordingly (OFUR transaction).

Eli

Thnak you Eli,

I appreciate your responce. I still have an issue that PO posting date is taking as current date (not the 2008 date) ???
So, though I updated our profile ( Currently it is 000102 - with period based & for value type 51, posting date was choosen)

So, If the PO was created in 2008 and I change it today, still the posting date is taking as today's date???

Any more help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Dev

Hi,

The posting date corresponds to the date of the update.

Dev,

You can use transaction FMOD to change the FM update date and period by user. This is typically used during conversions.

Thanks,
Todd

Hi,

If you activate Version Management in Material Management, this gives you
an opportunity to save certain changes under versions. If you activate
the field 'Posting date' in the Version Management tab, you can define
on which day the Funds Management application will be updated.

PBET must be active.
