Hi All,
Could anyone guide me how to lear Business objects ? Actually thr r many tools in this module ..please suggest me which one is the latest one with some information..i would like to do certification as welll...pls guide

Hi Stratos,
Iam working as an EAI Consultant,having around 4 yrs of exp....primarily worked on SAP Netweaver XI,IBM Websphere Message Broker,Tibco all middleware products. Just heard of this Bussiness objects and just to enhance my skillset iam willing to learn this Business objects.

Hi Stratos,
Iam intrested in development part rather than admininstration side.It would be great if you Could send me some info regarding development side in Business objects...i have few questions like which is the best tool so far ? why ? wht r the other tools available etc...

Hi
these are the reporting development tools:
Crystal Reports Powerful tool for creating highly formatted reports. Ideal standard reports and mass reporting
Web Intelligence: Web-based reporting with advanced presentation capabilities and intuitive user interface, Ideal for Ad-Hoc reporting.
XCelsius: Tool for creating highly interactive, graphical dashboards. Ideal for consolidated views on your data, rapid development and for adding simulation capabilities in your reports.
Desktop Intelligence: Stand-alone ad-hoc reporting tool. Similar capabilities as Web Intelligence (not web-based). Is considered to be obsolete.
Additionally there is the SAP BusinessExplorer which is a great exploration tool that helps end-users explore their data using a Google-like search engine and a very intuitive graphical interface. Not really a development tool though. Ideal for mass data (in combination with the BW Accelerator).
Which is the best tool depends on your use case.
