Hello everyone,

the sizing is now available in the QuickSizer. http://service.sap.com/quicksizer > Create Project and select SAP NetWeaver BI. Click on the "Help" link on the top right-hand side of the screen to get more information on how to fill out the sizing for BI+BIA.

Most of the data is the same as for sizing BI. If you have done a BI sizing already you can copy and paste the values into a BI+BIA sizing. Please note that you have to create a new QuickSizer project. Otherwise the BIA options will not appear.

If you already have a BI system (loaded with data), then the program and method described in SAP note 917803 is recommended. It will take a while to run, but it is definitely more accurate than a QuickSizing.

We are very interested in your feedback about the integration of BIA sizing into the SAP QuickSizer. If you have used the QuickSizer for BIA, please take a minute to fill out the following anonymous survey:

Hi Mac,

I am trying to create a sizing proposal for new BI and BIA system using SAP QuickSizer.

Ouput of the BI sizing:
SAPS: 5300
RAM: 21.505 MB

Output of the BI+BIA sizing using BIA modul in QuikSizer:
SAPS: 8.400
RAM: 47.104 MB

does it mean BIA needs (8.400 - 5300) 3.100 SAPS and (47.104 - 21.505) 27.648 MB RAM ?

Cheers,
Murat
